Time to publish…

Steve Pitt, the Liberal Democrat candidate for Moreton at the recent by-election and their Parliamentary candidate for Wallasey, has written another piece on his blog criticising the Conservatives.  While not referring directly to Wallasey, Steve does imply that the Conservatives are ‘keeping quiet’ on their sources of income.

Yet Steve then goes on to direct readers to the Electoral Commission’s website which has the audited accounts for the Conservatives.  Sadly, I can’t find any accounts submitted by the local Liberal Democrats (or Labour, for that matter).

So, in the spirit of his article, I have submitted a comment on his blog suggesting he publishes the most recent accounts for the Liberal Democrats in Wallasey.  Will he publish the comment and, more important, the accounts?

That way, we will know for sure that his campaign isn’t being bankrolled by this man.

We know they are struggling a bit in Wallasey (see here), especially when they had to cancel their recent ‘dressing up’ event.
