Wallasey Lib Dems: s(hr)inking fast
More bad news from Wallasey’s dwindling band of Liberal Democrats. Having still not selected a Parliamentary candidate and having come fourth in many parts of the town last May, it looks their organisation is teetering on the brink.
In the Wallasey Liberal Democrat May newsletter for members (here), we are told that at a meeting called to discuss the important issue of care for older people: “It was disappointing that there could not have been more than a handful of our members who wanted to attend.”
It gets worse…
The Lib Dem ‘European Party Night’, which was due to take place on May 11 and included dressing up (erm…), has been cancelled due to the fact the Lib Dems running the local Party have found…”it has proved impossible to run the event.”
If a political Party can’t even run a social event, how can they be expected to run a Borough?

Very good. Highly amusing – and I don’t blame you for taking advantage. But I also know you won’t forget that it’s not how bad at the game that the Libs are that maters most – but how much better you are. ALSO never forget that it’s the people that get you there and what they want and don’t want that are the most important. Regards Arthur Green

[...] know they are struggling a bit in Wallasey (see here), especially when they had to cancel their ‘dressing up’ [...]
